Porsche Centrum Gelderland has been the exclusive vendor of Porsche cars in the East of the Netherlands since 2006, supplying not just the latest models, but also classic cars through the world's first official Porsche Classics Center. As the company was short on physical space, it started to expand the complex earlier this year, erecting an impressive new building with a surface area totalling 7.209m2. The repair workshop at Porsche Centrum Gelderland has already been operating from the new site since late October, reports Aftersales Manager Sander Heere.
Apart from showroom facilities, the new building is home to an extensive maintenance facility, a fully equipped repair workshop, a spacious mixing booth and spray booths. The mixing booth has been fully equipped with Hamach stainless steel fixtures, including various spray gun cleaning stations, mixing tables and waste stations. All the fixtures are directly connected to the ventilation ducting to ensure the workspace complies with health and safety regulations.
A Hamach 8000 TQ Turbine Central Vacuum Machine has also been installed to make sure the air outside the mixing booth remains safe and dust-free. This provides guaranteed extraction at all workstations and offers optimum performance with variable demand and extraction times. The machine is suitable for 24/7 operation and can be extended to eight extraction points.
